Saturday arvo crafting with:
- Two old scarves
- An old pair of trousers
- Elastic & cotton.
This idea is based on a skirt from the book "Chic on a Shoe String". My project is a little different and for someone who is a bit larger.

I've basically stitched everything together and run some elastic along the top. I've used the panel of black to separate the two scarves. It makes an interesting boho reversable style number. Except I didn't like it as a skirt.

It very quicky became a top to layer over my myriad of boring Big W t-shirts!

I popped a black belt around the top, teaming it with black pants and a black t-shirt. A ribbon also would do around the waist.I think perhaps a thicker black belt would have been better.
